Patricia M. Zook, D.V.M.,
C.V.A.
Dr. Zook graduated from Texas A & M University's Veterinary
College in 1974. She later came to Georgia in order to work with exotic
animals at Red Palmer's facility.
Dr. Zook then went on to work as a Professional Service
Representative with Hill's division of Riviana Foods, which makes Hill's
Prescription Diets and Science Diet; this adds considerably to her knowledge
of the pet food industry and her interest in nutrition.
For quite some
time, she practiced almost exclusively on horses in the Atlanta
area, using conventional as well as supplemental medicine including:
homeopathy, herbs, acupuncture and nutritional supplements.
Dr. Zook received her certification in acupuncture from
IVAS in 1977 and has worked at Loving Touch Animal Center since 1993.
She received her certification in NAET in 1999 and is a Reiki master.
